Overview

The number and scope of activities carried out by industry1 to facilitate access to medicines and other health technologies2 and strengthen health systems in low- and middle-income countries is increasing. Despite the proliferation of industry initiatives3 , no global framework or guidelines exist to guide their development, implementation and regulation.
