SIP Survey Software
This easy to install software is excellent for the input of each child's age, parasitological data, height, weight and haemaglobin, during a survey.
Simple calculations can then be carried out or the data can be exported to EpiInfo or Excel or other packages for more sophisticated analysis. The software is currently being updated to improve it, but if you are carrying out a survey and would like a copy of the current version, please contact us at wormcontrol@who.int.

Schistosomiasis Control Initiative: Advocacy and Training interactive guide
This interactive CD-ROM is for planners and programme managers, but would also be very useful for students of parasitology and health workers. Two broad areas are covered - Advocacy and Training. The advocacy section provides simple messages with the supporting scientific evidence. The training section advices how to set up a control programme including detailed instructions on planning, implementation and accounting.
All sections include a rich array of photographs, videos, and simple animations on the field work including how to collect baseline data and the qualitative and quantitative diagnosis of schistosomiasis and STH.
