URUGUAY

Uruguay Red Cross Society organized events to thank and encourage regular blood donors from the many donor clubs. At these events, donors were encouraged to go on donating blood on a voluntary basis. In addition, at the national level, information about voluntary blood donation was distributed by means of posters, flyers and the media. A press release was prepared for the occasion.
