World Health Day 2004 "Road safety is no accident"

The Croatian government and nongovermental bodies have set up several activities in the framework of World Health Day 2004, among which: drafting and distribution of five road safety information leaflets to drivers all across Croatia; children road safety event in central Zagreb; first aid demonstration by red cross volunteers in central Zagreb; booth on road safety for disabled people in central Zagreb; distribution of World Health Day advocacy materials to Croatian elementary schools; road safety television statement by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health; implementation of a road safety educational programme in nursery and elementary schools across Croatia.
