Together on the road

Sorrento city council in collaboration with ELASIS have planned several outside activities for World Health Day 2004. The activities involve participation of children and tourists. On the main square of Sorrento the organizers will set up booths informing the public on the results of the ELASIS road safety research. Moreover, the Sorrento council has decided to make nursery and primary school children more visible by distributing fluorescent yellow security bands. Finally ELASIS and the local police will educate children on safe pedestrian road behaviour.
