The Journal "Prospettive in Pediatria" is planning a nationwide survey for the promotion of road traffic injury prevention. In the emergency departments, a questionnaire will be completed for each road crash involving children of 0-14 years. In the general pediatric offices a questionnaire will be completed for a number of attending patients to evaluate the attitudes of parents towards the prevention of road injuries and to collect data on possible past accidents. In both cases the surveys are used as an opportunity to promote road traffic injuries.
