Call for submission of documentation for good practice and obstacles
2015: iERG call for evidence
2015 is the last year of our mandate. We are launching our final Call for Evidence from you for our fourth and final report – due to be presented in September, 2015.
The report will make a final assessment of the impact of commitments to the Global Strategy for Women’s and Children’s Health, together with global and country progress in the implementation of the Global Strategy, and progress on meeting the recommendations of the UN Commission on Information and Accountability for Women’s and Children’s Health and the UN Commission on Life-Saving Commodities.
The iERG will also look ahead at the place of women’s and children’s health in the post-2015 era and as part of the Sustainable Development Goals agenda.
We are particularly interested to receive your submissions on the following themes: impact of commitments; links between RMNCH and SDGs; country and global accountability mechanisms; RMNCH in emergencies, including in Ebola-affected countries; human rights, dignity, equity, and quality of care.
Submissions are accepted in the following formats:
- quantitative evidence on the effectiveness of practices, programmes, and policies;
- descriptive essays, with indication of potential impact;
- research papers, including economic evaluations;
- personal stories, news and media articles, visual items (tables, graphs, photo portfolios, video materials, etc.)
Submissions should describe the context, methods, and processes involved in gathering the evidence; specific lessons; and wider global lessons. All submissions should discuss the potential implications for policy and practice.
