Radiological hazards in drinking-water

Radiological hazards in drinking-water include a number of radionuclides that may occur in the water people drink. Drinking-water may also contribute to the concentration of the gas radon in indoor air.

Radiological hazards in drinking-water are addressed in the WHO Guidelines for Drinking-Water Quality. Further information on radiological safety in general is available and on the International Radon Project.
