WHO colleagues review progress and plans for 2014 as part of Bloomberg Philanthropies Global Road Safety Programme (BP-GRSP)
From 23-25 April 2014, 16 staff from most participating WHO country offices convened in Geneva for a three-day meeting to discuss progress and plans for the final year of the current five-year grant of the BP-GRSP. Joined by relevant HQ colleagues, the first day was devoted to "advocacy"
A workshop was conducted by staff from the Bloomberg Advocacy Incubator - a partnership between the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and Consumers International - whose role is to assist BP-GRSP consortium partners to build civil society organizations at a national level to advocate for policy change. The second and third days were dedicated to assessing progress and plans for 2014 in countries as well as discussing project evaluation methods.
