Meet our Goodwill Ambassador
Martina Hingis

Martina Hingis, the famous Swiss tennis player, has accepted an invitation to become Goodwill Ambassador to the Expanded Programme on Immunization. Ms Hingis had already been supporting the programme for some time, when it decided to recognize her contributions and commitment to help promote immunization of the world's children.

During the 1997 European Championships in Zurich, a press conference was held, during which Ms Hingis was officially appointed as Goodwill Ambassador to the Expanded Programme on Immunization.
