Human African trypanosomiasis

Médecins Sans Frontières – MSF

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international humanitarian aid organization established in 1971 by a small group of French doctors that provides emergency medical assistance to populations in danger. MSF has been concerned with sleeping sickness for many years and has brought assistance to population affected by epidemics on many occasion. MSF collaborates closely with WHO in general and more specifically by providing the logistics for sleeping sickness drug distribution in endemic countries. A number of articles on the MSF website describe the work of their different sections in the fight against trypanosomiasis.
