Party Reports

The WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) entered into force on 27 February 2005 following the date of deposit of the fortieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval, formal confirmation or accession with the Depository. In accordance with Article 21, each Party to the WHO FCTC is required to make its initial report within two years of the entry into force for that Party.

As stated in the Annex to decision FCTC/COP1(14), Party reports will be arranged under the headings "Two Year Reports", "Five Year Reports" and "Eight Year Reports" and allow access by non-Parties that may be seeking information to allow them to take effective steps in tobacco control.
