Evaluation Research
The gaps in knowledge were evident in most countries where the project was implemented. The project made a deliberate attempt to determine effective culturally appropriate and feasible ways of implementing primary prevention in the area of substance abuse among young people. The efforts to accumulate knowledge about existing risk and protective factors, resources and approaches were carried out by research institution in the following localities.
