Addressing violence against women is vital for improving gender equality and women's empowerment. This is a key component of Millennium Development Goal 3. This edition of the WHO bulletin invites submissions of papers describing research that addresses violence against women and in particular those with a strong intervention focus or demonstrate innovative approaches.
