Infertility and subfertility affect a significant proportion of humanity. WHO has calculated that over 10% of women are inflicted – women who have tried unsuccessfully, and have remained in a stable relationship for five years or more.

Biomedical infertility care in poor resource countries: barriers, access and ethics

Limited information is available pertaining to how biomedical infertility care is provided within different developing countries and low resource settings, although the number of studies exploring this area of care, has increased over the last decade.
