This occasional paper presents a synthesis of experiences in information, education and communication (IEC) for public health with a view to improving the integration of IEC into sexual and reproductive health programmes and service. This document is intended for policy-makers and communication specialists in all aspects of public health to help them build upon their experience in enabling people to develop more healthful behaviours.
