Evaluation of the WHO training initiative on gender and rights in reproductive health 1997–2007
Executive summary
By 2007, The WHO training initiative on gender and rights in reproductive rights had been under way for 10 years. At the request of its Gender and Rights Advisory Panel and donors supporting the training initiative, the Department of Reproductive Health and Research (RHR) of WHO commissioned a retrospective assessment of the Gender and Rights training initiative to inform WHO regional offices, donors, training institutions and beneficiaries.
The evaluation findings strongly support that the course has achieved, with considerable distinction, the objectives that such a course is reasonably capable of achieving. The course is available from the link below.
