Call for Abstracts – International Conference on Family Planning, 2013

Deadline for submissions: 1 May 2013

Abstracts are invited for the Third International Conference on Family Planning to be held from 12-15 November 2013, at the African Union Conference Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Hosted by the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia and the Bill and Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the conference will highlight successes in family planning and address remaining challenges.

The organizers encourage abstracts on cutting-edge research and program results that enable individuals, particularly in low-income areas, to achieve their contraceptive and reproductive intentions. Of particular interest are abstracts that demonstrate how family planning advances the health and wealth of people, and those which discuss high impact or best practices of family planning programs and service delivery models. Abstracts using strong scientific evaluation methods will be given priority.

Abstracts are invited from individuals, and also from preformed panels. The deadline for submissions is 1 May 2013.
