website relaunch

11 DECEMBER 2012 — The Girl Effect Network, led by PMNCH board member the UK's Department for International Development, Nike Foundation and NoVo Foundation, has relaunched a website ensuring global leaders, economists, researchers, policymakers, ambassadors and everyone in between has what they need to understand the impact that adolescent girls have in alleviating global poverty — and then do something about it.

The website is home to a global movement, launched in 2008 with the Girl Effect video at the World Economic Forum, designed to inspire the world’s most influential leaders to get girls on to the global development agenda and to drive massive resources to them.

Since the girl effect belongs to everyone, so does all of the content available at Information and resources including case studies that show the girl effect in action, infographics explaining the economics behind the girl effect, toolkits, videos and more are accessible and easily downloadable for everyone to use and share.
