World Prematurity Day 2012
Global Twitter Relay
Help us ring in the second annual World Prematurity Day with a 12-hour round-the-world Twitter Relay! PMNCH will host Born Too Soon report author Dr Joy Lawn for a live Q&A during our 09:00 to 10:00 EST time slot as #WorldPrematurityDay Twitter Relay chat leader. We hope you'll join us!

WHO: Wellbeing Foundation in Nigeria; EFCNI in Germany; Tommy's and World Vision in the UK; PMNCH in Switzerland; and AWHONN, BabyFirst, Every Woman Every Child, GAPPS, the March of Dimes, Save the Children, and USAID in the USA will bring together experts, professionals, advocates and parents in a global conversation around premature birth—the second largest cause of death in children under the age of five.
WHEN: Friday, 16 November 2012 from 06:00 to 18:00 EST; PMNCH to host tweet chat hour from 09:00 to 10:00 EST
WHAT: The chat will discuss the newest data, personal stories and ways in which to address preterm birth including solutions that can be applied in high-income as well as middle and low-resource settings. Everyone has a role to play in reducing and preventing preterm birth, and improving care for babies born too soon. Help us raise awareness about this critical issue for child survival around the world.
