Call for Nomination to the independent Expert Review Group (iERG)
12 JULY 2012 | GENEVA - In 2011, following a recommendation of the UN Commission on Information and Accountability for Women’s and Children’s Health, the World Health Organization (WHO) established a time-limited independent Expert Review Group (iERG) which will operate until 2015. Membership of one of the seven members of this group will be terminated following a change in affiliation that is deemed as resulting in a conflict of interest.
In order to replace the departing member, WHO is once again soliciting nominations from all stakeholders of the Global Strategy. Self-nominations will not be considered. Individuals or organizations wishing to propose candidates are requested to submit nominations via the online form by 31 August 2012.
