The Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH; Partnership) joins together the reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health communities, encouraging unified and effective approaches to improve health in countries. The Partnership enables members to share strategies, align objectives and resources, and agree on interventions to achieve more together than they would have been able to achieve individually.
The Partnership has a broad membership drawn from seven constituencies to facilitate communication and management of members’ interactions with the Partnership. Each constituency has a chair person from among its members, and a focal point in the PMNCH Secretariat, who supports the work of the constituency and its chair.
The following are the seven constituencies of PMNCH:
- Partner Countries (PC)
- Donors and Foundations (D&F)
- Multilateral Agencies/International Organizations (Multilaterals)
- Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs)
- Academic, Research and Training Institutions (ART)
- Healthcare Professional Associations (HCPA)
- Private Sector (PS)
Membership to PMNCH requires a commitment to advance reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health, in accordance with The Partnership's guiding principles, vision and mission.
