1 SEPTEMBER 2010 | LONDON

High Level breakfast

Location and timings

Wednesday, 1 September 2010, 8-8.55 am

Royal Society of Medicine, Chandos House, 2 Queen Anne Street, London W1G 9LQ, James Adams Room

Purpose

The breakfast will be an opportunity to chat informally about plans to support the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's Global Strategy for Women and Children's Health, the work of the organisations present, as well as elaborate on future ambitions to accelerate efforts towards achieving the MDGs on women’s and children’s health.

The breakfast meeting provides a unique opportunity for business leaders to demonstrate leadership through their willingness to participate in a substantive conversation with the SG Office, and DFID, to illustrate what kind of progress business engagement is capable of achieving.
