Kadi Toure, is since 2013 the Technical Officer responsible, with partners, for the development and implementation of the Post 2015 advocacy strategy and the youth and adolescent strategy. Prior to this appointment, Kadi led on advocacy for reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health in the African region, working closely with regional institutions including the African Union and Pan African Parliament. She has occupied numerous roles at the Partnership, including the focal point for human resources for health and essential commodities related activities and a technical officer in the country support team.
Ms Toure (Senegal) has studied Economics, Gender and Development, earning her Msc. from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor in Economics and Political Science at Wake Forest University in the United States (North Carolina). Working with the private sector in Senegal, she has worked in governance, corporate communications and corporate social responsibility. Ms Toure also worked in her home country, Senegal, with UNIFEM and non-governmental organization such as TOSTAN, doing research and community development.
