Mission statement

The Hunger Project has pioneered bottom-up, gender-focused, fully integrated rural development strategies in 12 countries of South Asia, Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. These strategies currently are improving the lives of nearly 35 million people across 24,000 rural villages. In terms of MNCH, we have worked in partnership with local government to ensure that the continuum of care becomes universally available in the areas where we work, and the the populations are sensitized and mobilized to seek them.
