What is the International EMF Project?
Project activities
Do electromagnetic fields pose an environmental risk? To answer this question requires a thorough assessment of the scientific research, i.e. determining if there are effects from EMF exposure that have potential health impacts.
Conducting such a risk assessment, it is possible for decision makers and regulators to define appropriate policies and standards and for politicians to implement risk management programs that protect public health and respond to public concerns. Many governments have learned the hard way that such endeavour can only be successful if they recognize the reasons for public concern and account for the risk perception of the general public. To that end, it is crucial that information and communication be established and maintained through the process of responding to this issue.
The International EMF Project has been designed to follow a logical progression of activities in each of the highlighted areas.
The document mentioned below includes a logical diagram of Project Activities.
