Pre-Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) Technical Workshop on Sodium/Salt and Sugars

A Pre-CCNFSDU Technical Workshop on Sodium/Salt and Sugars was jointly organized by the Government of Chile, PAHO, WHO and FAO at the occasion of the 32nd Session of CCNFSDU in Santiago, Chile. The main aim of the workshop was to provide technical information and evidence on the issues related to sodium/salt and sugars. In the session on sodium/salt, some country experiences and their salt reduction initiatives were also presented.
