WHO Centre for Health Development

WHO Centre for Health Development (WHO Kobe Centre or WKC) was established in 1995 at Kobe, and works in affiliation with the Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health cluster (NMH). It conducts research into the health consequences of social, economic, environmental and technological change and their implications for health policies in order to enhance WHO's capacity to address priority health issues that require coordinated multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral action.
