130th WHO Executive Board session

The WHO Executive Board's 130th session took place in Geneva from 16–23 January 2012.

The Executive Board is composed of 34 members technically qualified in the field of health. Members are elected for three-year terms.

The 130th session of the Executive Board considered the candidature of Dr Margaret Chan of China, current Director-General of WHO, for nomination to a second term of office of five years as Director-General from 1 July 2012.
