Annual meeting of the Global Buruli Ulcer Initiative

Every March, WHO organizes a meeting in Geneva that brings together representatives from the ministries of health of countries affected by Buruli ulcer, together with nongovernmental organizations and researchers involved in tackling the disease. The meeting contributes to global advocacy efforts and provides a forum to share and disseminate new information, and coordinate efforts among all partners.
This year's meeting on Buruli ulcer will take place at WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2 to 4 April. About 150 people are expected to attend from 27 countries: Australia, Belgium, Benin, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, France, French Guiana, Gabon, Germany, Ghana, Guinea, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nigeria, Spain, Sudan, Switzerland, Togo, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States of America.
