Maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health policy indicators
WHO's Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MCA) conducts periodic global Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MNCAH) Policy Indicators Surveys, to track progress in adoption of WHO recommendations in national health policies and guidelines related to maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health. Interest in the results of this policy survey has increased over time. Four rounds of survey have been completed in 2009-10, 2011-12, 2013-14 and 2016.
There are 98 indicators for 122 countries in this MNCAH policy indicators database. The most recent information are presented when countries that have responded more than once in the periodic surveys. More information on the indicators presented and policy survey tools are presented under icon “I” in the top right corner of the visualization.
Data users may generate tables, global maps, dashboards and graphs for indicators of interest. These can be viewed online or downloaded.
