World Malaria Report
The World Malaria Report is published every year in December, providing the global health community with a comprehensive overview of progress in the fight against malaria.
The report provides an up-to-date assessment of malaria-related policies adopted and applied in endemic countries, and contains the latest WHO recommendations on malaria prevention and control. It looks at the impact of malaria interventions on the disease burden, tracks progress towards global targets and elimination, and reviews financial resource commitments and financial gaps.
The report is based on information received from national malaria control programmes in endemic countries, and from a range of malaria control partners. Since 2011, the report has included one-page country profiles for all countries and territories with ongoing malaria transmission. The report is distributed to national malaria control programmes and international malaria partners, and is also available for purchase through the WHO Bookshop.
