Implementing the RAcE project
2 October 2013
In September 2013, the WHO Global Malaria Programme and the WHO Regional Office for Africa held a joint planning meeting on malaria, reviewing progress on all key areas of work, including the implementation of the Rapid Access Expansion (RAcE) 2015 project. WHO's national and international professional officers working on RAcE gave presentations on progress and challenges in the five countries where the programme is being rolled out (Malawi, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Niger and Nigeria).
The presentations, posted on this page, contain a wealth of information about integrated community case management, and the burden of malaria, pneumonia and diarrhoea in these five countries.
