Draft Concise International Chemical Assessment Document (CICAD) for Chromium VI

The WHO/International Programme on Chemical Safety Draft CICAD for Chromium VI, also known as hexavalent chromium, is now available for comment.

This draft CICAD reflects the outcome of a consultative group which was convened to consider data on hexavalent chromium which had become available since the previous review by the CICAD Final Review Board. The document was revised to take account of the new data, and the conclusions of the consultative group have now been incorporated.

Following this public comment period, it is intended that the document and comments received will be made available to the CICAD Final Review Board for the document to be finalized.

The document will be linguistically and technically edited and you need not pay attention to stylistic, grammatical, or typographical defects. However, where an expression is misleading or ambiguous, please draw our attention to it. If you refer to a published article, please provide a copy with your response.
