WHO work for the safe and appropriate use of injection worldwide

The WHO strategy for the safe and appropriate use of injections worldwide has four objectives: (1) formulating national policies and plans for the safe and appropriate use of injections, (2) ensuring quality and safety of injection equipment, (3) facilitating equitable access to injection equipment and (4) achieving appropriate, rational and cost effective use of injections. This strategy is an integral part of the strategies of the Department of Department of Health Policy, Development and Services (HDS).

Ensuring the safe and appropriate use of injections at country level

This section proposes a framework to assist Ministries of Health in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating national policies and plans for the safe and appropriate use of injection.
