Interim Epidemiological Surveillance Standards for Influenza
Overview
This document contains the WHO interim global standards for influenza surveillance. It is produced following a global consultation on influenza surveillance standards held in Geneva in March 2011 and subsequent review by a number of surveillance experts and the WHO regional offices (see page ii of document for details). The standards recommended, including the case definitions and the chapter on thresholds, are based on a careful review of the available data and have undergone limited field testing.
