Information for all levels of the health-care system

WHO understands that patient care occurs in different health care and resource settings around the world. Our aim is to ensure good health care provision for influenza at all levels of healthcare. As a result we have developed information resources that are targeted at different levels of healthcare, ranging from community care to tertiary hospital care.

Our goals

The goals of the Global Influenza Programme are to:

  • define best practices in prevention, diagnosis, patient care, treatment and use of antiviral medicines;
  • disseminate this information to the medical community; and
  • identify areas that require research and collaboration.
