Developing and disseminating best practice for the management of influenza patients at all levels of health care and resource settings around the world.

Providing healthcare workers including doctors and nurses, public health specialists and other care-givers, who are on the frontline of the fight against influenza, with evidence based guidance to support the care and treatment of patients.

Goals

  • Define best practices in clinical management such as prevention, diagnosis, patient care, treatment and use of antiviral medicines;
  • Disseminate this information to health care community; and
  • Identify areas that require research and collaboration.
