Report on the consensus workshop on EPI curricula prototypes for medical and nursing/midwifery schools in the WHO African Region, 13-17 March 2006, Douala - Cameroon

The objectives of the workshop were to update participants on the current immunization policies and strategies including the Global Immunization Vision and Strategy (GIVS), to get a consensus on the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) curricula prototypes for medical, nursing and midwifery schools in the WHO African Region, and to make recommendations for the implementation of the EPI curricula revision process within the African health pre-service training institutions.
