Strengthening health security by implementing the International Health Regulations (2005)

To provide support to Member States in strengthening disease surveillance and response capacities and to facilitate the implementation of the revised International Health Regulations (IHR), training materials have been developed through intensive collaboration between local, regional, national, and international institutions, from both the public and private sectors. Depending on the end user, these materials were developed as (i) toolkits/packages for classroom training (face to face or virtual), or (ii) for self-learning.

In this section you will find links to a range of materials classified according to the categories described above. These materials target institutional technical and training officers. This body of information may be regarded as a knowledge resource base or library, to be adapted according to what best suits the users’ needs in a given context. In addition, this section of the e-library provides a list of existing opportunities for training in relevant areas of expertise.
