International Travel and Health

Global travel exposes people to a range of health risks, such as different disease agents and health risks related to changes in temperature, altitude and humidity. Without proper advice and protection, international travellers can expose themselves to many health risks as well as bring back infectious agents to their country of origin. These risks, however, can be minimized by precautions taken before, during and after travel.
