Scientist, Department of Reproductive Health and Research
We are pleased to announce a vacancy in WHO/RHR for the fixed-term position of Scientist.
WHO’s Department of Reproductive Health and Research (RHR) aims to promote and support an Working in the RHR Research, Evidence, and Norms (REN) Team, the incumbent facilitates the department's work in biomedical sciences as it relates to reproductive health research and technology development. She/he will meet with partners in academia, research institutions, industry and government, among others, in identifying opportunities and priorities in reproductive health technology research and development. In supporting the research agenda in this area of work, the incumbent will work with senior researchers of WHO Collaborating Centers and other research institutions. The incumbent will liaise with WHO regional and country offices and officials of partner agencies to provide advice on biomedical aspects of contraception and other areas of reproductive health research and technology development. He or she will provide scientific and technical advice and support to teams across the department, in particular, as it relates to contraceptive development and other interventions or technologies for widening contraceptive choice and improving sexual and reproductive health.
