2011 United Nations High-Level Meeting on AIDS

Marking thirty years into the AIDS epidemic, ten years since the landmark UN General Assembly Special Session on HIV/AIDS, and five years since the Political Declaration on HIV/AIDS, the world leaders gather in New York to review progress and chart the future course of the global response to HIV.
The UN High-Level Meeting on AIDS is being held at a critical time to move from universal access agenda to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.
