20th International AIDS Conference: "Stepping up the pace"
25 June 2014 - The International AIDS Conference is taking place in Melbourne, Australia, under the theme of "Stepping up the Pace", on 20-25 July 2014. The conference is a premier gathering of the global community working for and engaging in the HIV response. The WHO HIV Department will be launching a new guidance on key populations along with a latest progress report including end-of-2013 data on HIV treatment and other health sector interventions. We will also be organizing satellites, workshops and displaying posters on our priority work areas such as: use of antiretrovirals, elimination of mother-to-child transmission, tuberculosis, hepatitis, HIV testing and diagnostics and pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis.
