WHO at ICASA 2013
7-11 December – Cape Town, South Africa – The Seventeenth International Conference on AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections in Africa (ICASA) is taking place under the theme of “Now More Than Ever: Targeting Zero”. The conference has convened over 7 000 of the world’s leading scientists, policy makers, activists, people living with HIV, government leaders to mobilize leadership and partnerships to increase support to the AIDS response in the African region. Dr Luis Sambo, WHO Regional Director for Africa gives an opening plenary speech at the ICASA 2013.
