The 7th International AIDS Society (IAS) Conference
The WHO HIV Department will launch its latest normative guidelines and progress report on 30 June 2013, at the beginning of IAS 2013 (the 7th International AIDS Society conference on HIV pathogenesis, treatment and prevention). This conference creates a unique opportunity for the world’s leading scientists, clinicians, public health experts and community leaders to examine the latest developments in HIV-related research, and to explore how scientific advances can – in very practical ways – influence the global response to HIV/AIDS. The IAS conferences are organized every two years and attract about 4 000-5 000 delegates from around the world.
