Child mortality by cause
Country-specific estimates of deaths under 5 years of age for the major causes of child deaths, prepared by WHO and the Child Health Epidemiology Reference Group (CHERG). These estimates are prepared to assist national and global health planning and priority setting. This information will assist in the design of programmes to achieve maximum progress in achieving Millennium Development Goal 4, to reduce child mortality by two-thirds.
