Country
seminars
|
| Country seminars have been held for a wide
variety of audiences including policy makers, managers, public health specialists and
academics. Many have been seminars for senior policy makers in Ministries of Health who
have wished to find out more about the new WHO approach to health system performance
assessment. For countries in the Enhancing
Health System Performance Initiative, the seminars have been part of an exploratory
mission to discuss the potential uses of the approach as a policy review and development
tool, and to define a joint programme of work. In some of the countries where a new
assessment of all health system outcomes has been completed, the results have been
presented to national audiences. There have also been more detailed technical seminars for
academic audiences, discussing the methods and findings from a country specific
perspective. |
