Global Health Cluster Events

Global Health Cluster Meetings

The Global Health Cluster meetings serve as the decision making body for the Global Health Cluster. Partners have been meeting since the initiation of the cluster to fulfill the mission of the GHC: build consensus on health priorities and related best practices, and strengthen system-wide capacities to ensure an effective and predictable response.

Joint country missions

Since 2008, the Global Health Cluster has carried out regular joint country missions to provide support and make recommendations for the introduction of the cluster approach. The missions engage WHO, UN agencies and NGO partners at global, regional and country level.

Global Health Cluster Trainings

The Health Cluster Coordinator (HCC) will ensure the good performance of the country health cluster, promoting and upholding the Humanitarian principles and the Principles of partnership. The HCC is accountable to the country representative of the Cluster Lead agency.

Global Health Cluster Updates

GHC Partners and other actors contribute to the Global Health Cluster work in different ways and provide regular updates on their activities.
