Addressing the health situation in the occupied Palestinian territory

In response to the 59th World Health Assembly Resolution (WHA 59/3) and in an effort to address the health needs of the population of the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), WHO organized a meeting in Geneva on 12 June 2006. The main goal of the meeting was to review the current health situation and identify courses of action for averting a humanitarian health crisis and ensuring the provision of health services in the oPt.
