Registration update - countries or areas
If you have already registered for SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands there is no need to register again each year.
As of 1 November 2011, a total of 14,391 hospitals and health-care facilities in 150 countries or areas have registered their commitment to hand hygiene as part of the global campaign – SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands. Congratulations!
The list below, last updated 1 November 2011, sets out the countries or areas from where hospitals and health-care facilities have registered. They are identified by WHO region.
At the beginning of 2009, registrations opened for all hospitals and health-care facilities around the world to show their interest in, and support for this new initiative to promote greater awareness of the importance of hand hygiene at the point of care.
